On a roadtrip from Canada. Best restaurant on the entire 2 month journey!
Went both nights that we stayed in Santa Fe. I absolutely loved the feel of the place, from the burlap curtains to the carved wooden chairs, from the second we walked in the door. The Food was delicious with generous portions, prices reasonable and the service excellent.
Bring your appetite!

Birria Zacatecana en caldo! This was served with copious corn tortillas and a mysterious picante salsa alongside the fresh onion and cilantro. YUM! The portion was large. And the icy mug of Corona with a lime was perfect. Authentic recipes passed down through generations. This is truly Mexican cuisine. Plan to linger and enjoy the food service, and beautiful atmosphere.

Food is a little pricey but they have a good selection of food and some new stuff I've never heard of like grilled chicken with a mango sauce and chile rellenos with pecans and raisins in them. I didn't like the horchata though. It tasted like it came out of a fountain.

I have driven past this restaurant so many times and have always wondered if it was any good. I finally I decide to pull in and check it out. They have outdoor seating with the heating lamps. You get fast and friendly service. The staff is bilingual and friendly. You get a complementary chips and three salsa dips. The food was good but nothing to make me come back. I would’ve given two stars but honestly the staff will go out of there way to assist with whatever questions or request you have.
