Great spot for good American food and well prepared meats! They can be busy and short staffed at times but the staff remains poised and provided friendly service.
I did not expect to write a review like this since I've been there once before and service was great. So, yesterday my fiance and I stopped to have lunch at Jackson Ranch. When we walked in, the greeter said NOTHING. I informed him that we needed a table for 3 and he grabbed 3 menus and walked off. He didn't say to follow him, or "over here", or anything. Once we sat down, we said "thank you" and he said NOTHING again...I had to ask for a high chair even though he saw me with a toddler! When he brought it over, I said thank you once again and he said nothing...2 gentlemen came in after us and he greeted them, spoke kindly, and was very warm with them. I cannot imagine why. It was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. But, the food was good!
Came in for lunch had an amazing experience!! Service was amazing told us all the specials tried the fried California rolls had the prime rib sandwich and had the blood orange cider that was amazing an adult orange Fanta if you will!!!
I believe that this place had some good and alright food. I really enjoyed the salad with my burger (no picture included, sorry), but it was significantly smaller than the bowl that it was served in.
In the beginning, we were told to wait 15 minutes to be seated but it took longer than that. But I believe that was the only “big” issues.
It was quite chilly inside for tonight so I know to bring a jacket nex time.
Hands down lives up to its name! Jackson Ranch steakhouse has the best of everything for any eater. Have to try the wonton tacos, candied bacon and the tomato basil soup. Lots of memorabilia out and a story behind this restaurant for sure. Chef/owner Thomas Jackson lives up to his award winning Chuck wagon cooking style and perfectly seasoned steaks.
There’s a reason it’s been voted one of the best steakhouse restaurants in New Mexico!
Some great quality food from appetizers, entrees to their desserts.
