5 Star Burgers

The TAOS BURGER was seriously one of the best burgers I have ever had.....the meat is so good and this one has a deep fried green chili on top that makes it incredibly delicious!

Burgers = always delicious. Lotta bang for your buck! Presentation lovely, even in to-go boxes. Staff = sweet, adorable, cupcakes, angels. Efficient, personable, wonderful. Nothing but wonderful things to say about the 5 star in Taos. EAT THE BURGERS EAT THE FRIES GET EM IN YOUR FACE. Do it.

Stopped in on a Wednesday at 6p with a co-worker. Parking is very limited outside. They seat more inside than they have parking spots outside.

We were greeted immediately at the door and the only space they had available were seats at the bar as the place was very busy.

I ordered the 5 star burger with a ceaser side salad. My co-worker ordered the crispy chicken bowl, which came out as a crispy chicken salad. My side salad was kinda disappointing as were the cold fries. However the burger, cooked to order, on a specialty bun, with fresh crumbled cheese and bacon was excellent.

Overall the inside decor is nice, the speed was a little slow, but they were full to capacity so that's understandable. The price was a touch high and the non burger food we ate was average at best. However the place is called 5 star burgers and man are their burgers good. I would definitely eat here again, I just wouldn't order a salad next time.

Pet friendly. Outdoor dining

Pros first: Great service, very fast, very friendly. They are pet friendly and gave all the dogs ice water in bowls they had. Chocolate shake was also wonderful, and the fries are really good too (and they give you a ton, be forewarned)!

Cons: Expensive. With tip, our meal came out to 50 bucks for 2 burgers, fries, and a shake.

My wife got the Old Timer. It was a bit bland and the bun was tough. I got the Brie bacon burger. The bacon was was good, Brie was lacking, bun was very soggy and the burger itself was a bit bland. However, they were still decent and we both finished them.

That said, the service more than made up for the slightly lacking burgers. I’d definitely go back (and take my dog!).
