El Loco Mexican Cafe

I was in the mood for tacos and we stumbled across this place. It is a MUST visit. The food was so extra wonderful. I can't even wax poetic. I'm still coming down from the food high. My son had 3 tacos. My husband and I had shrimp fajitas. My husband also had the spinach and mushroom burrito. Delicious isn't a great enough word for the foods we ate.

The first time I went here, I thought I'd never come back. Recently a friend talked me into trying it again and I'm glad I did. Had a great vegan meal with some chips and guacamole as an appetizer. Its small inside like all Lark St stores but theres a bar and the atmosphere is good during dinner rush. I will be returning.

I've been going to El Loco for years! One of my favorite places. Great food. Reasonable prices and friendly staff! I definitely recommend El Loco! ????

This place never fails to throw a large portion (and sometimes more) of food on your table. Excellent and strong margaritas, especially if you get on the rocks. Great staff. The location is small with an even smaller outdoor area but I love its ambiance. For me, the restaurant is a nostalgic place to catch up with old friends.

Best Mexican I've had in Albany, this is not your typical taco truck by far. Everything about this small place is perfect, right between Lark St. and Washington Park, with other great shops nearby, it's great to eat and browse the boutiques. Or, satisfy some cravings and wander the park for a while. Inside is warm and inviting and you feel personally taken care of. Fantastic!
