A nice find. Genuine Sichuan cuisine in Albany! We ordered way too much for the 3 of us because everything sounded good, and it was! We had the DanDan noodles, cucumber in garlic, hot and sour shredded potato, minced pork with cowpeas (perhaps mislabeled on the menu - I think it was minced pork with pickled diced string beans and peppercorns) spicy caserole of fish and soft tofu, hot and sour spare ribs, double cooked shredded pork, and sauteed pea sprouts. I lived in China for two years and visited the area, and it seemed right on target to me (with maybe a slight dialing back of the fire factor). Service was friendly, very good and EXTREMELY fast (you might want to ask them in advance to serve the dishes in a certain order and/or at a certain pace if that's your preference).

FAST! FRIENDLY! CLEAN! DELICIOUS! HUGE PORTIONS!

We stopped by this restaurant on a rather quiet Saturday night. The staff was super duper friendly, and very well experienced (the cooks are from Chengdu).

I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup with Shanghai noodles for $12. The food came out VERY QUICKLY (the fastest of any restaurant I've ever been to). The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were so generous I almost exploded after eating! I would love to return here and suggest that you visit them!

The food here is excellent. I had the lamb hot pot and it was perfect. The food came out absurdly fast and it was as authentic Sichuan as you can get. The restaurant is clean and well lit, the staff provided excellent service, and the owner was pleasant and fun to talk to. Bonus points that his chefs each have over fifteen years experience as cooks in Chengdu.

    All this, and affordable too.

This place surprised us! We have been on the lookout for spicy Chinese food and I believe we have found one of the better places in The capital region. The spicy chicken and spicy shrimp were both deep fried and covered in chili peppers, not too spicy, but the best we have had in this area! The beef in spicy broth was not spicy at all, even though it looks like it ought to be. Definitely will be back!

I frequent this restaurant at least 2-3 times a month if not more. One of the most authentic Sichuan restaurants in NY. There are 3 Sichuan restaurants in upstate New York and by far this is the best of the bunch. Recommended dishes: Lamb soup (must have), Spicy (boiling) fish, sichuan peppercorn chicken (cold appetizer), Sichuan cold noodles,...
