“I have not returned yet (never say never), but the first time I went there it was pouring rain, and the owners had to do some abatement. Fortunately, I was able to hang out while the food I ordered was cooking to avoid the rain storm. At that time, they were saying they had to update their menus, but I found a couple items to try - the fish and chips and the wings. By the time I left, the rain had passed. They use a southern-style seasoning which was pretty good, but I still favor flavors that are tied to the Northeast territory. Compared to other local restaurants and eateries, the fish was better cooked which is a plus for anyone seeking good fish. It was also served on a good size bed of crinkle cut fries. The wings were decent, but those could have used less breading. If you have never been there, the place might not seem like much when you enter, but the owners were very friendly and good to talk with. They have places to sit and TVs to watch. If you’re curious and looking for a potential fish/seafood place, check it out! It’s not hidden, but “tucked away” to the west side of the Mavis Discount Tire store on Central Avenue. You may also discover that the prices are reasonable, too!”

“Their beef noodle soup (牛肉麵湯) is very authentic looking and tasting. Soft blocks of beef float next to some greens resting on firm noodles which are sitting in a flavorful broth. I have tried a few of their dishes, the beef noodle soup (牛肉麵湯) is their best. I also came looking for pork belly buns (掛包) , which they have but are quite different from what I have had in Taiwan and expected from here. Taiwan Noodle uses a single firm piece of pork, I much more prefer the shredded meat style. If they had the other pork belly buns I would have given 5 stars”

“I absolutely love this restaurant..the food is great..the catfish is cooked and seasoned perfectly. Allie B is so welcoming and a great person to talk to. She loves her community and the people in it. The restaurant is small intimate and always clean. It sits right in the belly of Clinton ave. Some people who are afraid of their own shadow are afraid to stop and frequent this restaurant..all I can say to that is we don't bite and there is no need for you to be scared..face your fears????go get yourself good soul food...believe me you are missing out!”

“**RESTAURANT IS NOW CLOSED** This place is/was amazing! The lady who ran the restaurant was the nicest, and made amazing food. She made the most amazing goat curry!! She closed out of the blue, and apparently was sick and couldn't run the restaurant anymore. This was very heartbreaking as it was some of the best food near my work... I went at least once a week. I hope she does come back, but wanted to let her know we miss her! :(”

“Went here last night and got the chicken shawarma, it was absolutely delicious, and was massive! I got 2, 1 for me and 1 for my wife. She couldn't finish all of hers but said she loved it. The young man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. I added LTO on my shawarma and their special white sauce which I will be getting extra of next time because it was very very good. Definitely recommend, and definitely will be going back.”
