We Made a reservation, arrived on time, yet waited an hour after our designated reservation time to be seated. We were told " making reservations at Sammy's means you get priority seating. We don't hold tables." Perhaps you should just let people know that it's "priority seating" they're booking not a table or just not take any reservations at all.”

“I have to give this place 5 STARS, if i could give it more, i would. We went for a private party, so the menu was limited, but the food was just unbelievably GREAT. Huge portions of food was served, from the antipasta, to the main course, which was Prime Rib and Whole Lobsters, to the coffee and desert. The chef was awesome, he made sure everyone had enough food, the bartender Maria was fabulous, the entire staff was wonderful. Let me tell you folks, Bistro SK is a GREAT place. You won't be disappointed. I will be back for sure, and oh yea, they also have an awesome Sunday Brunch !!!!”

“The absolute best Pizza on City Island. My Mom swears by this place. She loves the Sicilian pie. From what I have had I can't complain. Definitely go in for a slice or 2 or 3 or 9 if you're in the area. And if you're not, well hey I think they deliver too so check them out. This place has always had a great Pizza Place even from when I was a little kid and we'd get Pizza for winning our little league games. A favorite.”

“Went for my birthday which was on the Tuesday evening after Thanksgiving. The place was empty but it was the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. The food was delicious. I had braised oxtails, they were super tender in a very tasty stew. Also tried the shrimp empanadas which were also very good. Wait staff was very nice and I got a sparkler for my birthday.”

“I went to JP's last night with my family for my grandmother's birthday and I loved it. The waitress Melissa was sweet and quick, the food was great and in huge portions, and the ambience was chill unlike the nearby restaurants that are super packed and noisy. Also the owner was kind enough to give my grandma a whole bottle of champagne when we left. Most importantly the music was great and old school. I'd definitely come back with my girlfriends!”
