The Skylark has a great hometown, retro feel. Our waitress was quick and personable. The food was delicious, all of their food is clearly homemade. The chili was fantastic. And after all these wonderful qualities, you can't beat the prices.

I went here a few days ago for a quick lunch while out and about. I really liked it. Service was great and so was my sandwich. I had a turkey club. Excellent. Constant refills on coffee.

Been going here for 20+ years now, and it is still a local favorite. Food is good tasting and very fairly priced. Staff is friendly and honest answering any questions you may have. Desserts are all homemade and the rice pudding is the sole reason I've been going there for 20+ years, and while I'll continue to go there for as long as I'm alive!

Nice diner on the parkway so it's often pretty busy. Open all night except closes Sunday afternoon. Used to be cash only, but they now take cards. It's a seat yourself but someone will usually tell you if you're standing around looking. Standard breakfast fair that's done well and it's available all day. My favorite buffalo chicken fingers, but they do not get along with me very well. They usually have a homemade cake for desert and some of the best cinnamon buns in the area (ask for it grilled). So good it's worth it to stop for a snack of just coffee and a grilled bun. Nothing amazing or so special you need to go there only to get it, but it's consistent and been there forever. It's packed on Sundays with the after church crowd and can be the most active and fun at 3am on the weekends right after the bars close.
