“Went there yesterday. Got spaghetti n meatballs, meatballs were perfect, not mushy or spices n served with plenty of sauce n not buried in cheese. Got chicken sandwich for my mother in law n she enjoyed it too n mashed taters were good. This is our third visit there n always good, gotta try the pizza next, just wish it was 25 miles away. Only disappointment was the slaw, little soupy, oh well,we will return.”

“Angelo's is an Auburn institution--our very first pizza place and, some say, still the best. The pizza is very good, even if the recipe has changed a bit since Angelo sold the place, and the current owner has added chicken wings, which are quite good. In a city that has been overrun by pizza shops in the past 20 years, Angelo's still stands as the most authentic, unpretentious and real among them. I highly recommend banana peppers, sausage and bacon. It's amazing.”

“Best Subway in Auburn NY. Its always clean and the service is always friendly and fast. The store manager, Dyan, always goes out of her way to make customers feel welcome. She also hires students to work here and is extremely patient with them. She also held coordinate a good pantry, which is located next to the Subway. The only drawback to this Subway is that it's located in Cayuga Community College and closed for part of the summer.”

“Nino's has long enjoyed the reputation for having the best wings in town. While its wings are very good -- especially when charred and re-sauced -- Swaby's, Parker's and Angelo's all offer very good (if not better) options, depending on the night. A real standout for Nino's is the pickle pizza -- a garlic pizza covered with tasty dill pickles -- which I've never seen anywhere else. It is really good. Prices are a little higher than other places in town, but the food is generally consistent and good.”

I love the general taos and the sesame chicken, but I have tried many other dishes which are all equally as good. The chicken always tastes fresh and is fried to perfection. The chicken is crispy without being burned and is complimented nicely by the rich, thick sauce. They offer a great deal on lunch specials and generous portions for the dinner platters. After trying many different places, I can firmly say that spring garden is definitely the best!”

“We unfortunately visited on the busiest night in the restaurant's history, so they were sold out of several dishes, and service was a little slow. That said, the staff handled it all pretty gracefully, and our food was very good. I had the sliced brisket grilled cheese, which I enjoyed quite a bit. My wife had the pulled pork, which was also quite good. I'm interested in trying the piggy mac and cheese, the wings and the ribs. Definitely will return.”

“My husband and I attended the "Gathering in the Grove" last night and what a fantastic time. The weather was perfect,food was very reasonably priced. The sound system played great music! The staff is very pleasant and friendly. If you have not been to the Grove, it is worth checking out. Hope they have more great nights like this in the coming months. Kudos to Beth and Sean!”

Sandie is known best for its range of local and organic foods, including lettuces, spinach and arugula, and the reputation is well deserved. The fruits are harvested from local organic farmers, and the pies are served warm with fresh homemade vanilla ice cream crafted with real vanilla beans. A host of other goodies, including rabbit, elk, and homemade pasta. The place is both clean and tidy—despite having limited space and more customers than can fit inside at one time—Eric the owner greeted my wife and me with smiles as warm as the food they serve there. I would thoroughly recommend Niles Bistro to anyone with a crave for exquisite and homy food. I know I'll certainly be returning soon”

“This place is legit! Classic old school burger concept done right! Killer Burgers, and dogs with all the toppings you want included in the price. I loaded up my burger and added they're house bistro sauce. Their fries are fantastic - oh and those are also included in the ridiculously cheap prices. On both my ventures to the burger shack I sampled the regular fries and their cajun seasoned fries. Both were crispy and tasty. Everything comes wrapped and served in a brown paper bag - which I think is a classic move. The owners are running the place and were extremely friendly. The chef clearly puts some serious love in his grub. All made in house and done so well. The place is clean and kept up. Highly recommend a trip to the burger shack!”
