“First time eating here. Nice atmosphere and good service. I had the salmon, which was good, but didn’t blow my socks off. It was a thinner piece than I expected and could’ve used a little sauce or something but it tasted good and I had no problem finishing it. 😊 The tri colored quinoa was also not what I expected, it was more like a vegetable medley with a small amount of quinoa in it. The asparagus was delicious. I had pumpkin pie for dessert and it was excellent (with lots of whipped cream, just like I asked for). I have high hopes for this restaurant. I think they could work a little bit on their food quality (from reading other reviews) and presentation, but a very welcome addition to Mayville!”

“I was looking for a pet friendly restaurant while visiting the area and found this place based on the great reviews. Mark and his staff went above and beyond expectations. For our party of 12, they made the effort to bring out extra tables and chairs out on their small patio, a cushion and chew toys for my puppy and made every effort to make us feel welcome. He even offered to fix a dish for my puppy! The food was great and very thoughtfully divided on separate plates for the children sharing a dish. Best of all, we had such a great conversation with him and shared stories and testimonies. I have dined at many high end, fancy restaurants through the years and none of them compared to the warmth and service we received at Allen Street diner. Thank you so much Mark and staff!
