“Fries are incredible! The staff was great! Accommodated our group of 13 at the last minute. Most of the food was excellent but I didn't care for the white anchovies on the cesear salad. Were not dried and salted like usual but more like little fish on the salad. The chicken pot pie looked amazing and was huge. We brought home a lot of leftovers.”

“First, let me start off by saying the food is delicious and is all homemade. My party started with an order of the Scotch eggs and heirloom tomato salad. I had the tagliatelle with stuffed meatballs, someone else had the ahi tuna tacos, and another had the salmon. Everything was amazing and the service was great. One thing to be mindful of is that this place can be extremely packed or extremely empty. It really depends on the day and time you go. I don't mean weekday either. One Friday, you could be waiting a while. Another Friday, you could be the only one in the restaurant. That being said, this place needs more traffic. The menu constantly changes to feature what's fresh, the family is extremely local, and the ambiance is cozy and inviting; almost like you're eating at your mother's house. So don't be afraid to go!”

“Out of 6 people that I dined with, two meals had hair in them. The one hair was long and woven into the breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was delicious though. There was also a hair on top of the apple crepe. Luckily my friend picked it off before he was able to notice. Maybe hair nets should be a requirement. Besides that the food is plentiful and fresh. Staff was friendly.”

“What a wonderful find. We just stopped here on our way to ski in the Berkshires. The food was delicious. I had an apple and sweet potato omelet that was amazing. They have great home made sausages. Kids loved the pancakes. The hosts were exceptionally nice. We will be back whenever we drive up the Taconic!”

“We rushed into Pieconic last Tuesday just as they had closed but the owner cheerily welcomed us in and served us terrific tasting pasties, cookies, brownies and iced coffees and made us feel welcome in a genuine way. Loved the fresh melt-in-your-mouth pastry of the cheeseburger pasty, homemade and delicious as could be. We were traveling through but will gladly stop by earlier the next time. We spent a good amount of time trying to talk the owner into moving to downtown Yonkers where we live.”

“Went there the 1st night after they re- opened after the many months of closing. The girl at the bar must've been brand new. I watched as she dutifully measured the tequila for the Margarita, But then she packed the small glass so full of crushed ice it wouldn't even hold a teaspoon of the liquid. So the mixing vessel held most of my drink while I got a teaspoon of mix/tequila and a lot of ice. Wasn't particularly happy about that after $8. The food was outstanding though. We decided to not go back after getting stiffed on all our drinks . There were 6 of us and everyone except one (she had hers as 'neat' to avoid a glass full of ice) got almost all crushed ice in the cocktails. Last night, after several months, we decided to try it again. Our waitress, Carolina, was very sweet, and brought out our drinks, appetizers and mains correctly. I noticed the bartender was someone different (whew!) and the drinks were perfect! The appetizers came out very quickly and we were just finishing them when Carolina delivered the mains. Hot, tasty and satisfying. Cant wait to go back!”
