    This visit was a quick one while hubby was having procedure at NDHospital I sat at bar and had chicken quesadillas. It was on lunch special. Cheese quesadilla $6.00. Add chicken-$8.00. Apparently I misread because my bill was for $14.00 so it was an additional $8.00 to add 2 strips of chicken. Tasty but thought a bit pricey for a lunch special appetizer. I'll go again. Just read the menu better

    Really great, quaint place. Food was great. Service was wonderful, very friendly and attentive. Unlike other restaurants, it was not loud and we could talk at the table. They have locally made veggie burgers! Not store bought. Food was hot and big portions. Love the history on the wall as you walk in too.

    As someone who has lived in Hudson Valley this place is state treasure. Excellent food and awesome 19th century decor. The Prime Rib dinners are the best!!!

    Delicious comfort foods from chicken to fish & various soups & salads. Only disappointment was our unprofessional waitress. Historical appeal with cozy booths & everything from antiques to coach lanterns makes this a must visit spot when visiting beautiful Rhinebeck, NY.

    Great place... again. You must have the London broil! Excellent dish! I have been going to Fosters for over 40 years. Now with the new owner Eli Bender it is back to being a good as it used to be. Thank you for your effort.
