“Drove over an hour to eat here and a paper sign on the door says "Closed today." Would really appreciate an update of hours if they do not follow their standard and ADVERTISED hours of operation. BUT they are the most amazing Thai restaurant in the Hudson Valley if not New York. Delicious and highly recommend the food. Just make sure you call to make sure they are actually open.”

“Went for a drink and ended up having dinner at the bar. We both had the hanger steak cooked medium. The steak came exactly as we ordered and was tender and flavorful. The portion size was perfect and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. I would highly recommend this place.”

“Cute Place in a quaint little town. Food was good. I had a panini and my daughter did as well. It was very good. Waitress was very nice and attentive. We stopped in for a quick lunch after visiting the venue where my daughter is getting married. We're from CT but we'd come back when we're in the area.”

“Yummy food. Buffet today needed better organization and TWO carving stations for the turkey. Line was way too long simply because no one told people there were two identical sets of food. Two rows of tables would have worked better. But food was great. Staff in dining rooms were friendly, helpful, right on top of things. Had a great time with my family.”

“The Amsterdam is by far the best, most accommodating place I have every been. I am a General Manager of a restaurant and I was mind blown by how friendly every single staff member is, how knowledgeable everyone is with the menu. We had our wedding ceremony and reception upstairs in the party room and everything was absolutely perfect. Chris could not have been more helpful, everything down to the lighting in the room was beyond our expectations. They worked with us with every single detail we could imagine, and even helped with ideas! Thinking back to our special day makes me want to cry because of how incredibly perfect everything was and we owe a HUGE part of that to The Amsterdam and the staff. Fletcher was incredibly kind, and always there to help in every way possible. (even to give us blankets when we were freezing from taking pictures!!) I can not thank Chris and the staff enough for the most perfect wedding experience! I recommend The Amsterdam to everyone! The food is always amazing, the wine selection is perfect, and the atmosphere is divine! Thank you so much!!”

“OMG- We will always make a point of eating here NOW that we know about this place! The three of us ( kiddo included ) ate every single thing on our plates. And I plan to take to take at least 6, maybe even 10 veggie burgers ...home with us. It’s the best straightforward food I’ve ever had. My hubby had the grilled chicken sandwich, our son- the grass fed burger...and I the veggie burger. All with homemade fries. It’s quaint interior and delightful owners ROCK! Great staff too. I can’t say anything negative and certainly not enough positive without boring everyone to death. Absolutely FANTASTIC and definitely a little magical. Don’t hesitate. STOP and eat or call and pick up!”
