“Simply the best BBQ I have had in this area, and I've lived here over thirty years. On my first visit I had the salmon, delicious, fresh and done to perfection. My second visit was a combo platter, brisket and sausage (spicy), also great. My wife had spare ribs and thought they were delicious, tender and juicy, adding that they had a nice BBQ crust. She loved the cucumber salad (a dish she is very fond of and very particular about). The staff were attentive and friendly and the restaurant was clean and orderly. The menu was simple and all sides are made in-house. Cole slaw was great (always a favorite with me when done right) and the pickled vegetables were outstanding. The bathroom is where I measure whether any establishment is serious about their business. It was clean and well appointed. Both times I and my wife visited we had lunch so I am not sure how busy it gets for dinner but it was an impressive establishment and I look forward to trying all of their offerings.”

“The Iron Furnace is delightful. Small dinning room. Excellent service. I have been there for lunch twice. The menu is also limited for lunch but the portions are more than adequate. There salads can easily feed two. I will like to try it for dinner.”
