Anchor Bar

For being a Sunday of Football we got there at 6pm were sat immediately and had a wonderful server who was chipper. The boneless Buffalo wings were absolutely amazing!!! I nearly made an order to go but was too full to go through with it. Great service good food. We will be back.

Good food. Good service. Wing are amazing. The atmosphere is described by the name of the restaurant. Moderately loud. It feel nice though.

Would love to compare this to other wing places but didn't have a chance to visit any others. The service was slow and poorly organized and I'm not sure why. The hostess sat us in a section of six tables that were being looked after by three servers. Why not have one section for the one server? The server sees new folks and knows to speak to them. We sat for 15 minutes before anyone greeted us. Now, the server that finally did come over was good. Fast, efficient and pleasant.

The food was good. We got fifty wings to share and a Ceasar salad. My one complaint was we could only get two sauces for the wings but the server did bring some suicide on the side which was appreciated. The suicide wasn't ridiculous. It was a nice heat.

I would go back to try some of the other sauces but I think I might try some of the other wing places first.

Was in Buffalo for business for several weeks and the locals were all split on which wing restaurant I should go to. Ended up trying them all out and Anchor Bar was just fine. Ordered several different types between me and a friend and enjoyed them all. Favorite was the Teriyaki wings ans they had just the right amount of caramelized sauce on the skin.

Great place to grab some delicious food. The chicken wings are a must try. A special shout out to the Official Buffalo Rub, ask for this on your chicken wings and you will not be disappointed. The fettuccini pasta is also great on serving size and taste. A must visit for anyone who wants to try out good wings and have a good time.
