“A quaint little restaurant on the corner next to the gas station. You’d never know how amazing the food is here if you didn’t pop in for a quick bite. We definitely took our time enjoying the deliciously cooked food here and they were very friendly with quick service. I’d like to point out the authenticity and the Taiwanese style based cooking they use (in some dishes) which is something I always look out for. Its similar to my grandparents cooking which is in my book very high praise! It’s really hard to find food cooked this well and it didn’t feel too heavy or oily. I’ve been here a few times and the consistency has never changed nor disappointed me. This is one of my top picks for local Chinese/Taiwanese style cooked food.”

“Went here today for the first time and it was excellent! I had a Build Your Own bowl, and I was able to sample different sauces and types of rice without even having to ask for a sample. Everything was fresh and tasty. Staff was so friendly and patient (especially because I asked questions about so many of the toppings since it was my first time there). The miso soup was also delicious! My husband had the Veggie Crunch Burrito and he really enjoyed it. It turns out they are also locally owned, which is always nice to support. We'll definitely be back!”

“We were surprised and VERY happy, over the summer, as we were driving up the Boulevard and noticed a sign for El Ranchito! We had eaten at the other El Ranchito locations, but it was a bit of a drive to either, so we didn't make it out there regularly (despite very much enjoying every visit). Since it's so much closer, this place has become our new go-to for Mexican. The food is consistently delicious and the portions are generous. It seems to be a little bit more expensive than other comparable Mexican restaurants in the area, but it's totally worth it. So far, we've only ordered for take-out, during the pandemic. But it appears very nice, inside, and the staff seems quite nice and helpful, so I look forward to dining in, once the pandemic is over. (Though, during the summer, we enjoyed ordering takeout from here, and bringing it over to Ellicott Creek Park to have a "picnic". That was actually pretty nice, so we may continue that tradition, even when the pandemic is over and the weather gets nice again.)”
