Scotch 'N Sirloin

Have been to Scotch N Sirloin many times. Last night my wife ordered surf and turf (8 ounce beef tenderloin and 8 ounce lobster tail) and I ordered the 12 ounce beef tenderloin special crusted with black pepper corns and a butter herb topping. Best steak I ever had. Very flavorful and very tender and my wife's lobster tail was was grilled to perfection. Salad bar is always great and our waiter Andrew was very attentive and courteous. Best meal I ever had, 50 years and they just keep getting better

Filet mignon cooked to a perfect medium. Side dish of peas and carrots (no not from a can or bag) a delightful surprise. All you can eat salad bar included. This place has been opened for fifty years. Bonus 50 % off coupon.

We were in the other day and I had the sirloin steak and my husband had
the 2 pork chops. The steak was not seasoned at all and was very tough.
The pork chops were not seasoned and, also, were not tender. We did not
send anything back because we did not want to wait again for the food.
We waited a long time the first time.
We have been there before and we were very satisfied with everything.

The food was delicious, as always, and the cocktail person was great, however, my wife and I were there to celebrate my wife's birthday. Our disappointment began when we walked in the door. The host barely greeted us and made little, if any eye contact and when we were leaving he was more interested in his phone than in asking us how our experience was. Our waitress, while pleasant, was not very attentive at all. I made sure that she was aware that we were there to celebrate my wife's birthday. Other than a cursory and half hearted "happy birthday" no other mention or comment was made. She also only came to check on us and our satisfaction once during our meal. My wife had to ask her for more water when her glass was empty.
Scotch and Sirloin has always been "our place" to go when celebrating our special occasions. After tonight's experience, we may have to reconsider "our place"

Great food, good service too. Don't leave out the sauteed mushroom caps. Awesome! Although I thought my rib eye was a little more rare than the medium-rare requested, I didn't complain, as it was so big that I knew half would go home for another meal...and sliced and quickly sauteed for 30 seconds it made a perfect steak salad the next day! Always enjoy dinner here.
