Amazing service and an incredible meal! This place surely doesn’t disappoint. Visited with my husband for our 5 year anniversary.
The Blue Mountain Ribeye was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back!
Fantastic service, cocktails, and food. Bartenders and wait staff are very knowledgeable regarding the menu items. This restaurant brings great new items to Buffalo and the Larkinville area. 10/10 Recommend!!
Located in the heart of Larkin Square with plenty of parking and seating options. We had the curry goat and curry chicken, both were incredible and included rice & beans, cabbage and fried plantains. It was more than enough food and neither of us could finish all of it. Restaurant is on the smaller side but very open and has outdoor seating with music inside and out. Beer options were Heineken or Red Stripe, price was high for those at 7 dollars each. Overall I would come back as the food was excellent and the location is very unique.
Excellent authentic Jamaican cuisine with a killer atmosphere and aesthetic. Larkin square is already pretty awesome, but Bratts Hill is what makes it a must-go-to when you’re in the area.
Not to mention, the owners story is truly awesome and his recipes are true to his own roots from his childhood village. Chef Darian, you’re killing it.
If you’re considering going, stop reading reviews and go right now. You won’t regret it!
Delicious food! Decided to try this place after it was on the news, we ordered the jerk chicken, the curry chicken, the rasta pasta with chicken, Irish moss peanut drink, and banana bread. Both the curry chicken and jerk chicken came with plantains, red beans and rice, and cabbage. All three of those sides were fantastic, the plantains were so soft and browned and the best we've ever had. The rasta pasta had a cream based sauce and the grilled chicken that was on it was tender and flavorful. The curry chicken was by far the best thing that we had, the flavor of the curry sauce was incredible. The potatoes that came in the curry were nice and soft too. The Irish moss peanut drink was a thick creamy peanut butter flavored drink and it was pretty good. The banana bread was really great too. Our least favorite dish was the jerk chicken. It doesn't compare to the jerk chicken at Kalypso. I honestly don't think any place can beat theirs. The jerk Chicken here did not fall apart, it was only moderately tender, and the sauce was predominantly on the outside of the chicken and skin, the flavor was not through the entire piece of chicken. So if you're looking for a delicious chicken curry with delicious sides, this is the place. If you're looking for the best jerk chicken in the area, go to Kalypso. The atmosphere of this place was really nice, very clean, nice setup of the entire space. The food came out very quickly and the service was great. We spoke to the owner's wife and she was very friendly and informative. This is definitely a place we will be coming back to!
