Hydraulic Hearth

We came for an early dinner on Saturday after making several attempts over the past year to try this place out. It was well worth the wait! Service was excellent - our server was friendly, knowledgeable and kept our glasses filled. We decided to go with several appetizers to share rather than pizza and loved the cheese fondue, bourbon wings and tater tots - they were all delicious and between the three filled us up. We went with the Old Dog, New Trick cocktail and Hydrocar which was phenomenal! Great setting, in the middle of Larkin Square with a beautifully restored building. Go!

Although the bartender's personality was lackluster at best, the pizza was incredible! The table service was on point; beer selection was great and the prices were reasonable. Go there tonight.

I have been here before a while ago and recalled a better food and cocktail experience. This time was different, cocktails were creative and delicious. However, we also ordered a Jack and Coke twice and got two different prices so there is that ????. The food, well the pepperoni pizza and the sausage were great. The chicken pizza was bland to be honest. The two stars is based on the different prices provided for alcoholic drinks, with no intent on a resolution from the bartender.

Great place to grab a bit despite a few hiccups.

I've been here twice. The pizza has been great both times. The last time I was here, we ordered the tots. They were amazing. They melt in your mouth. The service was great-I believe her name was Kate. Our pizzas were really good. Flavorful and delicious. We enjoyed our meal. I'd probably come back for drinks and pizza during happy hour.

Went for a sloth event from the Buffalo Zoo and the people and drinks were great.

The menu is really unique and I had a lot of fun talking with the attendees.

The beer on tap was made specifically for the sloth and there were eucalyptus leaves for the mixed drinks.

Overall I’d recommend to anyone.
