Nikki's Family Diner

The food was good but it took forever to come. The service was bad. She brought one person's food at a time, and disappeared after the food was dropped off. We had to go find her to tell her no one got their toast. Even after we told her that, we stayed another 15 minutes and never got our toast. She also forgot half our waters. The atmosphere was fine but not nice, the bathroom toilet was clogged and disgusting. The chicken and waffles was good, but I'd never go there again. The wait and bad service was not worth it.

This was our first visit there. We love the quality of the breakfast. Everything tasted well prepared and not overcooked. My wife and I both loved the pancakes. (Though a little bit of a vanilla flavor to the pancakes would have been better aligned to my taste. This is not a criticism so much a statement of my preference).
The bacon was crisp and perfectly timed. The sausage was also tender and not rubbery which a lot of restaurants tend to do. I could say the same about the eggs because there was not a rubbery texture at all.
My wife and I will be back for dinner to try that out. My only advice to the new owners of the restaurant is to check out efficiency. It seem like a lot of people were going one way with one item and then going back for another. If as the restaurant becomes more popular that style of one item one trip will definitely slow service down in irritate customers. My advice is never go empty-handed deliver food and then bust a table on the way back.

I frequent Nikki’s Family Diner often. My favorite dish is the salmon and shrimp egg rolls. The haddock is also very good! The staff is very friendly and attentive, I highly recommend them

The food is great and will take you back to your grandma's kitchen. The prices are very reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

Went for lunch since I was in the area and ordered the Cheeseburger (which comes a la carte). I also had the Loaded Chicken Hoagie fries which were oh so delicious.

The burger can be customized with all the standard fixings and though it was just a two person operation at the time, the staff were moving fairly quickly considering how many customers were present.

The only dings on my rating were about the time it took for a server to come over and ask about my order intially and the fact that I wasn't offered a beverage at all during my visit. I was fine, but would've liked a bit more personal attention after intially sitting down.
