“WOW. 21st century Wendy's. Just built and some construction and/or landscaping remains. But it is open for BREAKFAST at 6:30 a.m. ! Very nice and clean. Two restrooms, both family. The usual sign over the sink says employees MUST wash hands, and adds "strongly recommended for everyone." Outdoor patio area with tables and chairs (hurry summer). Love the new look.”

“I eat here on my lunch break all the time, as a mall employee it’s great to grab something quick, cheap and delicious. I just wish you guys staffed your restaurant better. One person working on a Sunday is actually ridiculous. I only have 30 minutes for lunch and I waited for 20 minutes for my food. I love this place and the food is so fresh and delicious and I’ll be back again, but you need to fix the staffing issue.”

“Have been here 2x in the past month...the first time was excellent! Great food, service, and atmosphere. The second time ..not so much. I ordered the same appetizer as the first time (blue crab artichoke dip), but was really disappointed the second time. Our waitress also forgot my drink twice (one time it was just a water!) After being seated, we didn't get to order drinks until 10 minutes later, and out waitress rushed off before we could tell her that we were ready to order our food. Another 10 minutes later and we finally got to order food. It took another 15 minutes just for our appetizer to get to us... When we went to pay, we had a mystery coupon and asked our waitress about it and she was very rude and sarcastic with us ("it's probably just $5 since 99% of them are") The inconsistency has me wary of returning despite the rest of the food being delicious”

“Honestly, I don't know anything about the current Papa Joe's -- I have lived in New York City for 45 years and haven't even visited Buffalo in 13 years --- but Papa Joe's is important to me because it once belonged to my grandfather, who established a bar there. I don't know exactly when it was established, but it was already in operation in 1910 and he owned it through Prohibition, and passed away in 1935. My father was actually born upstairs - over 100 years ago! The bar has been in operation, under various ownership, for more than 100 years!! That's something, I think! I grew up on Randolph Ave. Will definitely stop by on my upcoming visit (whenever that will be, I don't know but I am planning to go "home" some time soon.)”
