Adirondack Mountain Coffee Cafe

Best breakfast, coffee and friendly service. No need to go into Lake Placid to eat. This mountainside restaurant had the best prices, great plentiful breakfast with lots of smiles. The coffee was fresh and hot with a great Adirondack mug that you could buy as well as the coffee. We will be back for breakfast and lunch. They were recommended as a place to get coffee for us (we are coffee snobs). I can only honestly review their ground coffee (we don't have our grinder). The coffee though is excellent, would absolutely purchase it all the time if we lived anywhere near. The cafe itself is cute and out of the way, so no major crowds from the other towns. We will have to return for breakfast.

Oh my God! My life will never be the same! Stayed in Lake Placid for a week and came back here for breakfast 4 times!! Unbelievable!! The best sausage gravy and biscuits I've ever had! French toast made with sour dough bread and deep fried. Dear Lord!! Real maple syrup. Omelets you can barely finish they're so big. Excellent service. We ate both inside and on the patio. I can't say enough good about the place. I'd drive 100 miles to eat here!!

Our meals were delicious! The coffee was roasted on site, smooth and just like I like it! I particularly enjoyed eating their homemade blueberry jam on my toast and taking home some chocolate walnut fudge.
