The best part is the staff as a local lawn care company we walked in not knowing what to expect. From meeting the caretaker in the pouring down rain to meeting this kind beautiful family that runs and operates this wonderful preserve we felt so welcomed by them all. We are so grateful to be apart of the upkeep of the lawns. From the beautiful view from the mountain house to the cozy warm environment of the bistro this beautiful place will certainly not disappoint! You have to see it for yourself!!!”

“Best breakfast, coffee and friendly service. No need to go into Lake Placid to eat. This mountainside restaurant had the best prices, great plentiful breakfast with lots of smiles. The coffee was fresh and hot with a great Adirondack mug that you could buy as well as the coffee. We will be back for breakfast and lunch. “So happy to have found an amazing restaurant that’s only minutes away from my house! The food is delicious; we had the Brussels sprouts, the pretzel, the fried chicken sandwich and the fish and chips! Each thing was better than the last. This is a must visit! I can’t explain how nice it is to have a restaurant that is as good as my favorite restaurant in Lake Placid so close to home. The music was amazing and the staff are extremely friendly and took all of the appropriate Covid precautions to make us feel safe and comfortable. Thank you!! :-)”
