    Awesome food. Great for kids and very healthy. Gives you gas so don't eat a lot.

    Loved the views from here. Beautiful lake. There are benches to sit and enjoy. Kayaks are available to rent. There is also beach.

    The amazing view from the deck looks ng out over mirror lake at sunset set the tone. Though somewhat casual, the service and food was far superior to a much more upscale restaurant we ate at last week for a celebration ration. Complaints are just nits. One person's medium rare blackened stake with Brandy sauce was closer to medium. I highly recommend the boathouse.

    Sit outside if you can; the views of Mirror Lake are beautiful. The food is wonderful. Our party of six enjoyed everything immensely. The staff was phenomenal. Just the perfect place for a memorable evening in Lake Placid.
