This place is incredible. It’s owned by a Polish couple who hustle on the floor right along with the rest of the staff. Hubby makes the sauces and the brisket in the kitchen from scratch. Prices are incredibly reasonable for this area. Service is efficient and upbeat. Seriously - this is a must do place if you’re looking for hearty food with a touch of class. Definitely recommend the Redneck Burger and fries.
Good Redneck burger and lots of flavors. The housemade sauces were very tasty and enjoyable. $15 for a burger with fries and a soda is a bit much but not unheard of I guess.
One of the best burgers I have ever had. Perfectly cooked and not overly greasy. We will definitely be back.
I went there twice within a two day period, it did not let me down either time.
Dinner - It was very busy, but the staff was still very attentive. Drinks, appetizer, and main course arrived to my table in a timely manner.
Lunch - Was seated right away, the staff was very attentive. Drinks, appetizer, main course, and dessert, arrived in a timely manner.
Quality of food was GREAT! My table ordered everything from hot dogs, chicken fingers (fritters), the Fat Bastard, Polish Panini, the Heavenly Pig, Nachos, to chocolate dessert. It was all amazing, fresh, and not heavy with grease.
The Price for the quality and amount of food was well worth it. Best food in Lake Placid. Hands down.
We ate here with a group of 11 and the food and service was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make us all feel welcomed and at home, the food was delicious, and the old hotel that they are located in is absolutely beautiful. To be able to easily park right in front is a huge bonus as well, as I’m not really a fan of dealing with parking downtown. I’m looking forward to visiting them again next summer!
