The Deck at High Peaks Resort

This review is based on a single dining experience. We ate on the second floor deck overlooking the street and the lake in the evening on a warm day in late August. We were in the shade the whole time. The restaurant was clean and there weren’t any bugs around to bother us. The accommodated our large party (without a reservation) by seating us at two tables with close proximity.

The waiter was very patient and friendly with the kids and helped make the appropriate accommodations for the vegan in our group (she very much enjoyed her beet salad). I got the tacos, which were absolutely fantastic, though they did leave me a bit of room to help my kids finish off the fries from their chicken strip dinners. Being outside was nice, within walking distance of the lake, and a nice spot to just chill and relax. I would definitely hit this place again if I’m lucky enough to vacation up there again.
