Burleigh's Luncheonette

I like the ambiance. Friendly staff. Great prices. Food was pretty good. Patty melt and grilled chicken caeser salad were solid. If you're in town it's worth stopping in.

Good food. Friendly folks. Nostalgic--there are almost no places like his anymore in my home city.

We live in Vermont and our experience was nothing short of spectacular. The food is excellent. Music while eating so relaxing. Atmosphere fantastic.But last but not least you must get a malted shake. Folks who own Burleighs are so nice.

It was a good meal. Portions were good, but 3 people total working, and not an empty seat in the house. Some patrons left before they ordered, due to slow turn around. It's really a neat place if you are looking to take your time and unwind.

Wife and I have been told about this little gem a while ago. We live in the area and are always looking for a pleasant place to eat close by. As you walk through the door you think you are going back in time. The music was reminiscent of the 60’s (we are baby boomers). The restaurant had memorabilia hanging on the walls of that time. They have dinner specials on Friday and Saturday’s. We stopped in on a Friday evening for their dinner special which was baked chicken half with a rice and veggie side. Dinner special under $9.00 for half a chicken. The chick was flavored and moist like it was roasted. The rice side was not just plain rice it had a special mix of select veggies. Not out of box. Topped dinner off with strawberry shortcake with baking powder biscuits. Dinner for two with drinks and desert was $25.00. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast and lunch menu is also very reasonable. We definitely plan on returning to this gem of Ticonderoga.
