No need to go anywhere else! Not sure all how everything fits in the store, but it does! The Trading Post has everything you need! Most every morning we ride our bikes around the campground, then head to the store for the paper, coffee and a pastry. About 4, we decide what we want for dinner and head to the store! You will not find a better selection of fresh meats, pastries made fresh daily (get there early), made to order wraps and pizza, complete deli with fresh cut meats and salads made on the premises! And the freshly smoked ribs and pork shoulders are beyond excellent - make sure you look at the "sides list" and order early in the day. You will also find all things related to camping including fishing poles and worms, tent stakes, bug repellent, wood, etc. Plus a great selection of souvenirs-hats, tee shirts, pine scented pillows, ect. A great beer selection too! All this in addition to regular grocery items and supplies! I look forward to visiting our camp for many reasons, but one of the top ones is to say hello to our friends (Phil, Joe, Cliff, Gabby and Kyler) and all the friendly people who work there! Have a great winter and we will see you all next summer! Lynn and John, Raleigh, NC
Favorite little store my whole life.
Gone camping and forgot something? Don't feel like cooking? This is the store for you! Great deli & pizza, too
Absolutely the best little private general store there ever was!
This place is amazing. The variety of goods packed into this store has to be seen to be believed and the freshly baked items (pies, breads, etc.) are great, but don't miss out on the ice cream truck out front... forget Donnelly's; they aren't even in the same ballpark as Phil's soft-serve!
