Have eaten here many times. Food is well prepared, served hot and is great! Limited menu with decent variety.
Best meal I've ever had in Old Forge and I grew up here. They have a unique menu that is a blend of classics with their own spin on it as well as concoctions that I would never think of. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Amazing food! There were 6 of us and everyone loved everything!
One page menu, with about 20 - 30 options. Less options, but you'll want to try everything! Quality over quantity.
Butternut squash soup was perhaps the best I've ever had. Brussel sprouts were a hit, loved by all. Fries were great.
Highly recommend!
My only suggestion would be a couple regular chairs. The restaurant is separate from the bar, so I'm not sure they control the seating. While picnic tables, barstools, Adirondack chairs, and comfy couches seem like adequate seating they are hard for people with mobility and balance issues to get in and out of. I'd hate for people to miss out on the delicious food and atmosphere because they can't sit comfortably.
When the barkeep claims that everything on the food menu is amazing and there is a five star chef working in the back, you shrug and think that maybe he is exaggerating a bit. Not the case here. All the food we ordered was excellent. The brew fries in particular were some of the best fried potatoes I have had in a long time, and that was just a side. This place needs to stick around so I can go back and try the other offerings. All of them.
