“The food was decent but don't expect the usual riggie portions. Per the waitress, they serve small portions for sharing. Some items have what I consider to be larger portion prices. The chicken Riggies were $18 and a pretty small portion (compared to other local restaurants). They have a dj during brunch but it's so loud that you have to yell across the table. I don't suggest it if you are looking to converse. Also when we showed up they had no record of our reservation that I booked online. I showed my confirmation and was eventually seated after a delay. Overall the food was good but they have some high prices for the location.”

“This is by far the best KOA we have stayed at. Lots of things to do for the kids and adults. A river, that you can float down, runs alongside. There are mines to look for diamonds. There are so many cool “cabins” to stay in. The people we met were friendly, other campers and employees alike. There were fun themed activities like a luau, pavilion movies, including many fun educational ones as well. One employee there, named Harold, was so kind and helpful. We felt very welcome to be there. We are coming back, at the very least, once a year.”

“I’ve been a huge fan of the Mustard Seed’s products since I was a teenager, but their new shop is my favorite version yet! Their spice blends are great for cooking and in dips (you must try the taco seasoning), their drink mixes are top notch (I recommend the dirty chai!), and my goodness the jams! In this space Juli and Jenny are always coming up with a new gluten free goodie or take home dinners - and I’ve tried just about all of them! Not only do they have a wonderful section of culinary delights, their home fragrances are a staple in my home: soaps, lotions, bath items, cleaning products and more! My kitties especially love the Mustard Seed’s cat nip and cat nip pillows!”

“I've been here twice in 3 years and only for the go-carts. I measured and it's over 1-mile of racing. No helmets and some bumping is allowed. I raced my 13 & 15-yr old and can't wait to go back & do it again. Totally worth the $6 for each person / ride.”

“WOW is an understatement, everything about Great Pines is magical for those looking for a rustic yet fun getaway in the mountains. It's a beautiful lakefront property with kayaks for usage and beautiful docks. I stayed in room 5, would highly recommend staying in the main lodge upstairs as it overlooks the beautiful lake. Truly a memorable experience, thanks to the amazing owners and friendly staff. The bed was also super comfortable and they have great coffee in the morning. I'm already excited to return and I just left today. Would highly recommend for a couple, solo, or family getaway! Tons of trails nearby, and locally owned restaurants.”
