Pretty good food. Some of the best steaks in town.

My husband and I went here tonight about 520pm. Amazing service. Amiee was our waitress and she was amazing. Very friendly and many suggestions since I follow a special diet. I had a steak and shrimp entree and my husband had a Steak and scallop entree. Both of our steaks were made to our specifications. The salads were served promptly after ordering with amazing tastes. Both of us brought part of our meals home since they were plentiful. Definitely will be back. Great steak house for the quality and price.

On a very busy Tuesday evening (most restaurants in Old Forge were closed due to staff shortages and the season ending) we experienced a great meal - stakes cooked exactly as requested, nice atmosphere, fair pricing and Exceptional Service from the staff especially Ellen our waitress. The entire team from cooks to busboy worked diligently to please everyone and create a positive, fun experience. We will certainly return to the Stake House when in Old Forge.

Visited the Tuesday night at 5:30 after Labor Day and most other restaurants in Old Forge were closed. We were a group of five with reservations for only 4 as we had a last minute addition to our party. They were fully booked for the night with other reservations. It was my Dad's 86th birthday and we asked if they would still accommodate us. They did, quickly prepared a bigger table, and the service was amazing. We agreed to order quickly, and they were able to get our orders through the kitchen before the big rush. The food was sensational. I had the sirloin steak special, which was one of the best sirloin cuts I've ever had, and it was huge. All the meals came with excellent dinner salads. My cousin had the Delmonico steak, my Mom and other cousin had the Turkey dinner and my Dad the Filet. Everyone loved their meals. Highly recommend. Reasonable prices and good sized portions.

We had a wonderful dinner tonight! Doreen was the best and made our Birthday celebration dinner a memorable one. Food was great and service was amazing. Even though they were so busy because every other restaurant in the area was closed, we are so glad we tried it and will definitely be back.
