A relaxing place with phenomenal atmosphere, friendly staff, great food. The place was slammed, and they still were very attentive to get us seats quickly. We will definitely back to try more food and desserts.
I stumbled in here for brunch after my original destination was closed. The menu was eclectic but pretty much covered anything you would want for brunch. The chilequiles were great and spicy and filling and the Benedict was huge and delicious. The service was prompt but we didn't feel rushed. All of this and the entrees were only $13 in NYC. I would certainly come back.
Gotta say this place caught me by surprise, in a good way! Entrance is pretty unassuming and kinda pub-like but the restaurant is very charming and cozy inside. Went for brunch and got the Bloody Maria and Chilaquiles. Both were delicious!! Staff were very attentive and friendly. Will definitely return to explore the menu further.
I stopped in for brunch at 10:30 Sunday and initially was the only person there, but groups began drifting in quickly. I had the home fries, which were fine but needed salt, and the lentil soup. Although the menu just said "lentil," it was a red lentil soup - pureed smooth and bursting with complex flavor. The toasted bread was a great accompaniment. I liked it so much I ordered another to go! Decor is cute, service was good - I will be back.
