Henry Street Ale House

We stopped in while visiting Brooklyn. Great local neighborhood bar for a couple drinks. The food was just meh and expensive. Brussels spouts with bacon and honey glaze were great. We zeroed in on the burgers as it was recommended by our server. Buns were oversized and took over the flavor of the small brisket burger. Fries were fresh cut but there were layers of salt covering up any potato flavor. This place lacks attention to detail for the menu items we ordered but has potential if they decide to improve.

Though it's a bar, don't let that fool you, the beer selection is good and the food is great. Many restaurants don't serve salads that attractive and yummy (I had the arugula one and tried the Caesar as well) & the Red Curry was so good I couldn't believe I wasn't in little India. If you're in the area, you should check this place out! (And maybe even if you're not, go explore it!)

Nice pub with decent selection of beers and whiskeys. Didn’t get food but a pretty wide variety. Nice attentive service but it was quiet when I was there so that was easy to do.
