    Café Lore sits on the corner of 46th Street and 4th Avenue in the Sunset Park neighborhood of Brooklyn. I came for dinner on a weekday evening. The two guys who own the place are charming and friendly. If you ask, they'll tell you stories about the neighborhood, the tragedy of how the Gowanus expressway divided the neighborhood, and what it was like for their family through the generations - they've been in the neighborhood since 1902! Ask for the mozzarella sticks - they're fresh. And the boys serve up their own homemade fresh ice cream.

    Good food and the service was excellent. It's a tiny restaurant and it takes a little while for the food to be ready but it's worth it.
