As the neighborhood is obviously trickling with the white folk, I was hesitant about this place as gentrification in the neighborhood is here...BUT I do love a good coffee and this is the best place on 5th ave for that.

They also seem to have a good selection of quality beer, good vibes and Kevin is awesome.

This place is such a gem! Been living in sunset my entire life and there hasn’t been that many decent bars around, so this is such a great addition to the neighborhood! Quirky decor, great music, and overall good vibes. Sam is super cool too!

I love it here. I live a little far from here 32nd st and I take a walk here even though it is half a mile away, it's well worth it. My favorite coffee shop by far in this neighborhood and probably park slope. The staff is really nice, and the owner is a very down to earth person. What keeps you coming is the stamp card, I believe after 10 stamps you get either a free coffee of your choice of beer (I always choose the beer) they give you stamps for any type of coffee you choose. For instance you can buy a $2 coffee or a $4.50 latte. My favorite drink is the mocha iced latte or a regular latte. I forgot my wallet one day and only had $2 in my pocket so I settled for a regular coffee and it was so cute. The ambiance is really nice, you can come here and get some work done or you can bring a date here ;) I love it here.
