Great atmosphere- especially if it's nice out and the backyard is open, a hidden gem in the neighborhood! The arancini is incredible
Best kept secret in the area. The food here is consistently phenomenal! I particularly enjoy the always creative pastas and you can never go wrong with the hot chicken milanese. On top of that it has undoubtedly one of the best wine lists in all of NYC at great prices and the staff are all welcoming and fantastic. Highly recommended.
Perfect affordable cooking. Few places can grill a fish (mackerel) in a way that brings out the natural flavors and keeps the meat moist. The papardelle asked constantly for another bite. The chess pie was relatively light.
The only downside was that on Saturday evening the indoors space is extremely loud. I wish they did something about that, as I could barely hear the other person, marring an otherwise excellent experience.
Small but delicious menu. Loved the pasta with smoked cheddar, mushrooms, and creamed corn the night we went. Also the arancini in saffron honey was incredible. Always a reliably good meal at this cozy neighborhood spot with fantastic, helpful service. Never had the chance to sit in their garden but I hear it's great
Neat neighborhood Italian. Good cocktails. Nice wine list. Food interesting and the menu changes regularly. Backyard with bouche court for summer afternoons.
