Love & Dough

We were exploring DUMBO today and thought a slice of pizza would be nice. We went into L&D and ended up having the most delicious Italian meal we've had for a while. Rather than Pizza we had a Kale salad, Lasagne and Wild Boar ragu, all of which were delicious. I see they have some terrible reviews, but for a small, nicely fitted out and unpretentious place, we thought it was really good. The waiter was efficient, but not particularly friendly, which is why i only rate it a 4, but it's definitely worth trying.

Great pizza - especially if looking for gluten free options! Can barely tell the difference of gluten free vs. traditional. One of the best gluten free pizza's me (or my sister who has had many) has ever had! Highly recommend.

Food, courtesy and service was excellent and the place was chic and cute. Nice for a family night or first date... No personal slices.. But personal size pizzas that are freshly made right in front of you. Plus it didn't hurt that we got to watch Janet Jackson filming a music video right outside the location.. Not bad for the first time there...
