(January 16, 2019, 12:44 am)Didn’t know about dumplings but this place was a very pleasant and delicious surprise! So many savory choices! Loved the fried dumplings and the shrimp soup was very welcome on a cold N.Y. day. Friendly and accommodating host walked us through the choices.

(December 28, 2018, 10:31 pm)Vanessa's outpost in Brooklyn is just as good as the LES original. Orders are prepared quickly, the food is superb, and the prices are cheap. The atmosohere is casual, with spartan communal tables and counter seating.
Their famous frozen dumplings are also available for purchase - they come highly recommended. Any of the sesame pancake sandwiches are sure to please too. Enjoy! -

Chicken dumplings are amazing. The soups have been good for me when not feeling well.
Service is like takeout, but endearing in a very NYC kind of way. They put all their effort into cooking great food. Love this place.
