Liked this a lot. Pastas and pizzas were superb, but for some reason they still turn around people citing 1.5 hour wait times when if you just stand around there for 10 minutes with the right attitude, a spot seems to always open up. Worth a 10-20 minute wait, but wouldn't wait longer.
It's been awhile since I wanted to check this restaurant (heard good reviews from IRL's friends but was somehow rebuke by the menu). I finally gave it a try for a lunch with my family.
My roast beef sandwich was excellent, but my wife ordered soup (good) and eggplant (not interesting at all : didn't taste any flavor) and my boy had meatballs (good).
It was overall a good culinary experience. I would definitely recommend the place for a lunch but don't feel I would like to go to the place for a diner
So yummy. I got a gift card for Christmas and went in for lunch. The soups are my favorite but everything is really great. The lentil soup with bacon bits will not disappoint.
Inside it’s all exposed brick and dim lighting. Nice spot if you are going on a date or want a romantic kind of feel.
My waitress was super nice and helpful when asked about the menu.
There is a backyard space, but I went in the winter so obviously there was no seating back there.
Nice ambiance and setting. Waiters and the greeter/host are fantastic and friendly. The food is worth the money, and I highly recommend the brisket on a bed of spinach with the mashed potatoes. The meat melts in your mouth, the bed of vegetables(most notably spinach) is not something you'd brush off on the side, and the potatoes were some of the best I've ever had.
Came here from out of town for a wedding and we were very impressed with the food as well as the ambiance. A little courtyard served as the location for the ceremony and the "stable" was converted into the reception area. It was all very nice.
