I had the ropa Vieja bowl, very disappointed, the rice was hard it taste like it was re-heated leftover, the black beans had no taste, I think they open a can of black beans and heated it up. The meat was good, but $15- with tax’s not worth it. It was a very small portion. The salad was good. Never again!!! I forgot they ask me if I need utensils, how else am i Going to eat my food!!!
Beautiful restaurant. Friendly staff. I liked the food and drink options. Decent seating. Only thing is this is SUPER Americanized Cuban food. It doesn't taste bad, but you will immediately taste the difference. Also, me at portions are small but they have sizable sides.
We heard great things about this place so we had to check it out. The design was super cute and very homey! The costumer service was welcoming but the food came out very slow. The communication and organization behind the counter was nonexistent. They messed up our order twice and it took about an hour to get everything on our table. The coffee and the food flavor was phenomenal. I know this place has great potential with the help of great leaders and a good organized system between front and back of house. We came for breakfast and it was hectic so I look forward to coming during dinner time. Hopefully, our experience resembles the amazing Cuban flavor of their food.
A gem! We stopped in by chance and had the mojo chicken sandwich with spicy green sauce and it was amazing! The bread was soft, but toasted and crispy. Chicken tender and flavorful! Cozy, friendly atmosphere and delightful staff. Would recommend you stop in if you're in the area!
My friend got a vegetarian bowl and the palm salsa, and I got a Cuban sandwich and an iced cafe con leche; it was all absolutely delicious. The guy working the counter was so sweet and personable. I'll definitely be back soon.
Edit: Went back again today and had the mono chicken bowl. It was amazing!
