This place has tons of seating, is clean and the employees are very attentive and helpful.
The coffee is great (not sure who the roaster is) and they have tons of local herbal teas. Food-wise, I'd love a few more vegan / non-dairy options but this place is the real deal just the same.
This coffee shop has one of the nicest vibes for a coffee shop that I’ve been to. It has a wonderful mixture of low-key music and people focused on their tasks. It never gets too loud, and I find that I can focus if I need to. Sometimes I’ve brought friends with me for a drink or two, and the atmosphere remains the same.
It’s readily accessible off of the L train and in the heart of Bushwick. They have a wide variety of coffees, beers, wines, and ciders so there should be something for everyone. There is also a pretty nice food menu if you are in the mood for a quick bite as you work.
Also, the hours are great for a variety of work schedules and they are open basically all day. I find that I can hop in at any time and get some work done. They even have this really cool subway countdown clock for the L train, so if I have to get ready to leave, I know exactly when the L train is coming.
The staff here at Nook is also top notch. Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly, and can answer any questions you might have. They’ve really thought of everything, and I can’t recommend it more.
So glad they opened up! Very easy to sit around and work during the day with lots of cozy places to relax in and easy to enjoy the more active vibes in the evening.
They have great little bites that help in the afternoon and a good list of beer and wine when you're ready (because we know it's always 5 o'clock somewhere).
SO glad this place is finally open; I’ve been walking past it for what feels like ages! The inside is absolutely adorable. Lots of great space for relaxing or working, both communally and solo. All the owner’s woodworking adds such a homey, cozy feel to the place. Great draft beer list—get the pretzel bites!
Great coffee and snacks - the pretzel bites with various sauces were particularly good! They also do craft and local beer, plus wine. Most of the furniture was hand made by the owner, which is pretty neat!
Place is pretty quiet during the day, good for working, and in the evening it gets a little more lively. Great spot for people watching as well, due to the wraparound windows. If I lived nearby, would definitely want to be a regular!
