Aldama

Just wow. The octopus, the homemade tortillas (I let out audible groans of joy while eating these) and their mezcal selection is unmatched in the city. Very grateful we live just a short walk from this place.

Excellent mexican food. Drinks, damn delicious! DJ & vibe... yes! It's hostile if you don't make a reservation or know someone there. That could be better.

Believe me when I say I am the queen of going out and spending money and trying all kinds of restaurants. I trusted a review I saw on best “restaurants to try “. After coming here i realize I can’t trust all reviews. I wouldn’t have minded spending what I spent had it actually been satisfying. I Have had better drinks and much more delicious food at Bigger portions and WAY cheaper.
For the $$ money I spent I would’ve been happier somewhere else. On a positive note wide selection of mezcal. Staff are friendly and happy … with each other.

Aldama is one of the better new restaurants in Williamsburg. Would heartily recommend their entire menu. Personally the taco and the steak were my favorite - but really you can’t go wrong.

Cocktail list is also broad and tasty!
