Cool atmosphere and interesting cocktails. Really liked the vibe. Good place for us to wait for our table at Lucalis. Might have to make it a tradition.

A small simple menu where everything is good. The bartenders are also willing to make you something special while being genuinely friendly.

Nice cosy place with good cocktails. If you are hungry, have their amazing goat cheese sandwich. It is a cash only place so be prepared before going in

This is my favorite bar in New York for a myriad of reasons, but I specifically return over and over again for the unmatched service I've encountered there. The bartenders are knowledgable, kind, and efficient, and the environment is charmingly old-world without tipping over into kitsch - "authentic", as the kids might say. I can't speak highly enough of the cocktails - fresh, well-balanced, and elegant. Perfect for a first date or a fifth date or solo outing or a quick drink with an old friend. Those of you who do not require that every recreational outing resemble the first hour of Disney's Wall-E will not be personally insulted that Brooklyn Social is cash only. There's an ATM in the back. You'll survive.
