Cafe Mogador Williamsburg

I gave three stars because the food is delicious. I went there twice in the past week. The first time I thought the service was a one off because they were understaffed. The second time I went it was worse, the first time my water has a piece of lettuce & the gave me the wrong thing I just took it, barley spoke to the server had to ask so many times for basic things like silverware or napkins. The second time a-table was 45 mins wait and then we responded to our “reservation is ready” text after 6 mins. They said we didn’t respond fast enough and made us wait 20 extra minutes to be put back into the cue. After this they sat us in the worst table. Never gave us silverware again. We had to ask for water twice. There were several times I asked for something and didn’t receive it. I felt that the host was not very nice to us. All and all they need more staff, I felt bad for the waitress because again she was the only one there to a full restaurant. We still tipped 20% because of the respect of Covid-19. The whole point of writing this is because I went twice in one week the same thing happened.

The lamb shank (back left) was absolutely delicious!! Flavors as if this has been slow cooked for a whole day.

Need to go back!

Great service, good social distancing from other tables, awesome food (fries were still super crunchy even when they became cold)

Authentic Moroccan cuisine in the heart of Williamsburg. Reliably excellent food no matter the day or hour.

Loved our dinner here. They are doing outdoor service (socially distanced) and the food comes out in to go boxes. But, it's delicious. Their lamb tagine, their grilled combo, it was delicious.
