cajun food... excellent. Excellent spot to spend time alone or talk business. Looking forward to coming back with my relatives. It has a good feel to it.
I ordered from this place tonight with my husband. I’ve had their food many times before but this time compelled me to write a review- this place is bomb AF their food is so delicious and satisfying. I have never been to NOLA but this definitely has me curious now. I had the chicken po’boy. The chicken was cooked to perfection perfectly seasoned, veggies were fresh, tasty pickles and the dukes mayo/French bread combo is to die for. Thank you!
I've Been Wanting To Try This Place For Along Time. Finally Went Yesterday, Took A Uber All The Way From The Bronx. I Must Say, The Seafood Gumbo & The Chicken Gumbo Is What I Had. Good Amount Of Food. Good Seasoning. Just Hate That The Menu Had Limited Options. Guess Because Of COVID. But I Would Recommend.
Great po boys - our go to has been the catfish, but the hot honey chicken is also juicy and delicious.
The seafood gumbo teems with seafood, including large shrimp and blue crab.
The fried green tomatoes come with a great dipping sauce, a creamy bit of tang, a bit of spice.
It was a really fantastic cup of gumbo but being from New Orleans myself I really expected the poboy to have more flavor. The counter staff was a little dismissive and seemed annoyed when I asked her to review my order before charging me. But the gumbo really was delicious, just like my dad used to make.
