Sushi King

Amazing sushi! One of the best places for sushi in Rochester. However, they are very, very slow. That's the only drawback.

Boyfriend and I decided to have a evening out and I hadn't found a place where I loved the sushi so we figured we would try this hole in the wall. It was sooooo good. Sometimes I need the "yum yum" or spicy mayo sauce to make sushi enjoyable at some places, but it was so good here I didn't need any! I tried the birthday roll and I can't wait for any excuse to have another night out. On top of that, our waitress was very polite and attentive. A great experience!

Came in for lunch. We ordered four rolls and were not disappointed. The rolls were very good and larger than we expected. The service was very prompt.

It's currently my 8 year anniversary and I'm waiting patiently for my takeout order to be finished. Yes, the other reviews have mentioned the service can be slow, but it is so worth it. It's why we chose to order with them for our anniversary. It's why we order once a week from them. It's delicious.

This is one guy rolling sushi, all day, every day with ingredients that taste almost too fresh for our location. Everything is made to order, right there, by the same guy.

So depending on how busy it is, sure, you may have to wait. But do yourself a favor and take it as a moment to have a conversation or sit in thought. Slow down and wait.

It'll be worth it, I promise you.
