Root 31

I have had two wonderful experiences at Root 31 now. I can’t wait to go back and try their breakfast/brunch. The employees are friendly and helpful, and the food is fresh, healthy and delicious. There are many great options for vegetarians. The veggie burger is amazing! A nice touch they offer is the complimentary fruit infused water.

If you want a simple sandwich or soup, this is a great, quick place. The food is good and what you could make at home if you have minimal culinary skills so it's nice to be and to go to a place that tastes like a sandwich from home when I can't get a sandwich from home.
The broccoli cheddar soup was very good as well.

5 stars for people there working with what they've got, 1 star for the level of food trash on the floor looking like a high school cafeteria after the last lunch period. The beer tasted like the lines were dirty, the food was... OK? Felt like a Panera if it was on Avenue D.

An interesting little cafe nestled in a decent spot of Pittsford plaza. The menu is a tad bit odd, but once someone gets the swing of things, ordering is a breeze. The atmosphere is a solid 7 in comfort, but a tad chilly (Can't blame them for that). Parking in Pittsford Plaza is a pain anyways. lt looks like they offer outdoor seating for a better view. Definitely will recommend for a quick bite to eat before or after a movie. The staff was nice and helped with ordering my food.
