Village Bakery & Cafe

They forget my orders until I asked for my taste plate. The coffee is good and bakery are delicious. A lot of people at weekends.

My first time there. Large warehouse like setting. Soup, sandwiches, smoothies and baked goods. Wait time for food was reasonable. Employees were polite and helpful. I had a grilled vegetable sandwich. Large and filling. Small parking lot. There is a large lot across State Street.

Love love love. Their breakfast offerings are so fresh and carefully made! I love to go here with a book and get breakfast (any time of the day). It's a coffee shop vibe with the smells of a bakery. I haven't had a coffee, drink, pastry, or meal I didn't enjoy.

Decent location. It's small, but not claustrophobic. As a bakery, the items were fantastic. My party had some breakfast items as well. Both types of sausage were lacking, needing seasonings/flavor. Avocado toast was good. Cinnamon swirl French toast was good. Stuffed French toast was not great - outside was very dry, not enough cream cheese to balance the flavor, the fruit compote was good but not enough to deal with the dryness. I think we'll have to go again and try more items.
