Brown Hound Downtown

Went for brunch. Food was excellent. Waiter was attentive without being overbearing. Small, focused, but very good menu. Drinks and food were excellent. They easily made a substitution for some eggs Benedict that made my wife's meal better. It's upstairs, small, and nice, set in the museum which is interesting.

Such a cool little restaurant tucked away in the art gallery. Regret not posting after the first time we went since both times the food, drinks, and service have been great. Love the little unique twists on each dish too. (Pickled relish on the “plate” was awesome).

For money, the best eggs Benedict in the city. The secret looks to be their use of country ham, which is the perfect salty, savory addition along with their spicy hollandaise. We have been multiple times and even had a post wedding brunch there for which they were extremely accommodating. The mimosas and bloody Mary's are on point as well.

american food... awesome. One of the best spots of its kind in the area. The service was very friendly and attentive. The prices are well within reason for the quality. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I liked.
