Maru Sushi & Ramen Bar

Not only the best sushi but best service I have ever received at a restaurant . We came 20 min before they were closing and the staff and cook made us feel so comfortable did not rush us but even asked multiple times if we wanted more hot water and reassured us we can stay as long as we want ! Relly good service everyone is so polite!! Love this place

Amazing service! We bought food from another restaurant nearby and needed to situate ourselves for the walk. We stopped at an empty table at Maru's outside seating, and within seconds had staff bringing us water and utensils.
Then they insisted we sit and eat at their tables when we hadn't even spent a dime with them.
They literally waited on us while we ate food from another restaurant.
In 37 years, I've never encountered a wait staff so friendly.
We're going back here to eat tomorrow.
And many times after, I'm sure.

Not only was our waiter, Dustin, super nice, but the owner was extremely hospitable as well. They have ample patio seating even with tables sectioned 6 feet apart for safety and they did allow us to bring our dog (though we called ahead to check.) My friend and I started off with the miso soup, in which I’ve never had more silky soft tofu in my life. Then we shared the yellow fin sashimi with incredibly fresh and spicy jalapeño garnish (also delicious.) Finally we had spent all day kayaking on the lake so we each got one of the Village Bridge platter and were definitely not disappointed. The chef chooses the rolls in the bridge for you, but he certainly did not disappoint. The texture on the salmon was absolutely to die for. If you want food that is INCREDIBLY FRESH you should check this place out. From the jalapeños, to the sashimi, even the ginger...you could tell these guys really take care in choosing ingredients!

SO impressed with my first Maru experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming when I came in to pick up my takeout order! I was more than satisfied with the size and quality of the rolls (HIGHLY recommend the mix-up roll!) I’ll definitely be coming back for more ?
